Hello Everyone!

it's about class chalet again! i guess after a month after our O' Levels, everyone will kind of miss each other again! PLUS, i know we're all stressed up by stupid exams. haha, but no worries! why? cos we have the wonderful class chalet to look forward to! CHEERS!

alright now, so what is the purpose of this post? (the following is made a tribute to Mr Kamal)

Audience: students from 3/4 who have internet and comes into this blog
Know: DETAILS OF CLASS CHALET!
Feel: excited! look forward!
Do: feel the driving force to COME to our chalet and most importantly, ENJOY OURSELVES!!

alrrright! now, lets see what are the activities we're going to have for our chalet.

1. cycling~ feel the wind man.
2. poker (no money involved!)
3. play musical instruments! (obviously, guitar. not piano or drums or trumpet or xylophone or saxophone or mac's wonderful software called Garage band. err violin also can? :x )
4. Xbox or Playstation anyone? Nitendo Wii?
5. go and burn fats (walk along beach, play catching or beach volleyball or beach soccer there)
6. watch sunrise/sunset. apart from sun-rise, we can have sun-noodles, sun-chicken, sun-fries. which one you want?
7. star-gazing
8. talk
9. chit-chat
10. gossip (actually if you realised, 8-10 are the same thing)
11. bowling
12. arcade
13. pool (as in the shooting one, with the pool table and balls)
14. swimming
15. sing karaoke!! (either in karaoke lounge or in bungalow, up to individual's choice. if want sing at bungalow, you will need to bring your own CDs. 2 to 3 mics with good and loud speakers and a dvd player will be provided in the bungalow itself.)
16. play interactive games as a class. this includes games like:
-murderer
-polar bear
-truth or dare (uhh, im so not in this)
-zhong ji mi ma
(its in chinese, so ppl who don't know chinese, please don't waste an hour of your life trying to figure out what the bird it is ^^)
-board games
(those who are able to feel bored when they're there are seriously weird)
17. watch movies (most probably in the night)
18. play with sparkles
19. play with water bombs
20. sit tgt at night and talk with Mrs Sin and and other teachers like Mr Kamal, Miss Wang, chinese teacher etc. about their LIFE STORIES! they can give an intro of their family members, whom they will bring along, to us too! :D
21. and last but not least, BE THE CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING!!

JUST IN CASE you need someone to remind you of what to bring for the chalet.. well, i'll include this in too (:

1. Clothes. 4 sets recommended for those staying for 3D2N.
2. Undergarment. (dont forget)
3. Towel. bring at least 2 in case one gets stolen by ghost or fell off while you're in the train.
4. Shampoo. NO stinky hairs allowed
5. Soap. it wont be provided
6. Facial cream? (especially after BBQ, your face gets very oily. soap is bad for your face)
7. Jacket. the whole bungalow will be air-conditioned, gets cold at night. highly recommended.
8. Socks (not for christmas purposes)
9. Sleeping clothes
10. Sleeping bags. or if you want to bring your bed, we're fine with it.
11. comb (do it in the toilet. we dont want strands of hair all over the place)
12. poker cards
13. money. or you can go rob a bank during your stay. but dont come back after that
14. handphone charger!! this is important.
15. ezlink card
16. torchlight. if you think your bag's too empty, bring it. we'll need it if the bungalow blacks out
17. insect repellent. but trust me, the whole bungalow's enclosed and air conditioned throughout our 3 day stay. no mosquitos will come inside.
18. plasters
19. medicines, if you need to take any.
20. hanger?

ok! now for some suggested food :D we might not afford to buy all :x

For BBQ:
chicken wings
marshmallows
sausages
satay+satay sauce
otah
fishballs
prawns :O
sotong & fish
marinade

Others:
sweet or baked potato

mushroom or chicken soup
fried rice
salad + mayonnaise

Snacks:

candies
chocolate
popcorn

Beverages:
100 plus
put the lime in the COKE you nut
boiled water
F&N grape, orange, etc
Sprite, sprite ice
Ice lemon tea
Green tea
Root beear
Soya bean milk
milo
kopi
teh

yeah and we're done! now for the PRICE!! money matters!!
FIRSTLY, we really need to thank Mrs Sin and our chinese teacher Mrs Lee (a.k.a. Hu lao shi) for contributing/subsidizing 200 dollars each for our class chalet! lets clap for them! *clapclap*

Here's the per night cost without GST:
$403.00

Therefore, 3D2N = 403x2
= $806.00 (to 2 decimal places)

GST is 7%. Hence the total cost with GST
= (806.00/100) x 107
=8.0600 x 107
= $862.42

After subsidy, total cost = 862.42 - 400
= 462.42

Therefore IF all 30 people are going, the amount each person has to pay would be
=462.42/30
=$15.414
=$16
(rounded up, extra money will go either to BBQ or to next year's class fund)

IF let's say 25 people are going, the amount each person has to pay would be
=462.42/25
=$18.4968
=$19
(rounded up, extra money will go either to BBQ or to next year's class fund)

IF let's say 20 people are going, the amount each person has to pay would be
=462.42/20
=$23.121
=$23.50
(rounded up, extra money will go either to BBQ or to next year's class fund)

so.. DO DRAG YOUR CLASSMATES WHO ARE STILL CONSIDEREING TO COME ALONG TOO! FORCE THEM! HAHA!
erm for those who really can't make it, we won't ask you to pay (: we know you want to, just that you can't.. so we wont blame you guys! ^^

Important Notice:
We will take a final count on who is confirmed going and confirmed not going on 22nd october, Wednesday. no replies like see first or still considering hor!
After which we will calculate the amount each person needs to pay, and then inform the class on the spot.
Money is to be given to Sean by end of this week!

hahaha ok! thats all about it for now. please try to go!! please go!!! MUST GO EVERYONE! :D

*will keep you guys updated on the transport and stuff. we'll probably have a surprise for Mrs Sin during chalet!*

regards,
mouse

Just to give you guys an idea about what will be going on

Plus points of NSRCC chalet:

- Nice environment (resort leh come'on)
- Changi beach is just outside the resort
- Jacuzzi and sauna available (shiok)
- Pool (swimming and the billard kind)
- Bowling

Although it doesnt have a shopping place or fast food restaurants nearby, it does have many other amenities that would be a brand new experience for you guys :D I hope everyone would use this chance to talk, hang around and chat to people whom you never had a chance to talk to this year. So please make yourselves free on these days, because this might be the last chance to enjoy yourselves before the gruelling sec 4 schedules and everything!

And, please feel free to throw in all sorts of suggestions for the food or give recommendations for any cheap and nice food catering/bbq stuffs (who wouldnt want to share good food?)

Erm... and something which requires your attention:

Shall we throw a surprise(anything) for Mrs Sin?

I mean like, we've never really done anything much for her right? Before you start to moan/ groan/ complain/protest quietly/better if you feel happy... I sincerely hope you guys can put yourselves in her shoes as a teacher hahah. AIYA at least make her happy lah :D let her become touched until cry also can lah at least do something surprising for her HEEHEE I hope everybody can cooperate? (pours out gratitude profusely)

welcome
